Production defects are expensive. The faster they are detected, the sooner savings can be made.
LMW 4 detects both needle faults and holes, and stops the knitting machine with a corresponding error message.
The system is characterized by its extremely simple operation and was developed for single and double jersey machines.
No special background knowledge is required.
LMW 4 consists of a scanner head, operating terminal and control unit. The scanner head is positioned on the fabric surface and works according to the reflection principle. The emitted light is reflected by the fabric and evaluated in the scanner head. The scanner head of the LMW 4 cleans itself and adjusts itself fully automatically for the respective fabric surface.
With the latest hardware technology, the device offers significantly enhanced on-board processing performance which means improved initialization time.
LMW 4 has a 30% faster initialization time with a cutting line and even 40% faster without a cutting line compared to LMW 3.
